TERMS & CONDITIONS
Valid Membership
Identification of a valid membership will need to be produced prior to starting your chosen activity, this can be accessed via your BTS gym app or on production of personal identification such as a Driving Licence. Your membership cannot be used by anyone else and can only be used by the member associated with that account.
Health Questionnaire
All customers are required to complete a physical activity readiness questionnaire (PAR-Q) and must receive an induction at the time of, or as soon as practicable after joining to ensure safe and effective use of the equipment. If you are a confident gym user you may sign a disclaimer if you don't wish to have an induction.
Payment
All monthly recurring payments shall be paid by you, the member, via a direct debit collection service. Gym class bundles, weekly, monthly passes and annual memberships can be paid for in cash or card.
Cancellation Policy
On the recurring payment options there is no minimum term contract and you can cancel your membership at any time. To cancel your membership please email us through the contacts page on our website giving one month's payment notice. We will cancel your membership from the end of the month of your final payment.
'Freezing' a membership due to holiday or a short term injury is not classed as a significant change in circumstances therefore recurring payments will continue, should you feel your circumstances are require the freezing of your membership for a short period, please email us through the contacts page on our website stating your reasons and we will deal with your enquiry on an individual basis.
Annual memberships, week and month passes and class bundles, do not automatically renew so there is no need to cancel these. Class credits are valid for 12 months and all unused credits expire 12 months after purchase.
Refund Policy
Under normal circumstances no refunds will be issued, this includes monthly recurring memberships and annual memberships. If you require or believe you are entitled to a refund you will need to write or email explaining your reasons, decisions will be based on an individual basis, please note, refunds are entirely at the owners discretion, contacts are as below.
Changes to Programme
Changes to advertised opening hours may occur from time to time. This may be due to bank holidays, refurbishments, essential maintenance or staff sickness. Every effort will be made to minimise disruptions and to advertise changes in advance. There will be no refund in membership fees during these changes. Changes to classes may occur and classes may be cancelled either as a one off at short notice or cancelled on a permanent basis. No refunds in membership will be issued if and when a class is cancelled.

Members will receive a minimum of 1 months’ notice of any changes to the membership fees.
Standards of Behaviour
The Body Training Studio Ltd reserve the right, at any time, to refuse any application for membership, refuse admission, de-activate the membership of any individual who does not adhere to these terms and conditions or general standards of behaviour expected of facility users.
Junior Use
No members are allowed under 16 years of age. Junior members must undertake a full gym induction and follow instructions by a qualified member of staff.
Junior members can attend all classes with the exception of BodyPump where the minimum age is 18.
Photography
From time to time, we will take photos for use on our website and social media. If you do not wish to appear in any of our photos, please notify us so we can make a note on your account. If we do not receive a request for you to not appear in our photos, we will take this as consent.
Online and Streaming Classes
We have online membership packages where we stream classes and our instructors may post workouts on our social media platforms. Before commencing any of our streaming or online classes please read through the physical readiness questionnaire (PAR-Q) and if you answer YES to any of the following questions you should not participate in the workout until you have spoken to your doctor:
1. Has your doctor ever said that you have a heart condition?
2. Do you feel pain in your chest when you do physical exercise?
3. In the past month have you had any chest pain when not doing physical exercise?
4. Do you often feel faint or have spells of severe dizziness?
5. Has your doctor ever said your blood pressure is too high?
6. Has your doctor ever told you that you have a bone or joint problem that could be made worse by a change in your physical activity?
7. Are you over the age of 69?
8. Do you know of any other reason why you should not do physical activity?
Before starting one of our online classes or workouts you should ensure the floor is non-slip and the space is suitable with no obstructions.
All our instructors will be qualified to teach the appropriate class or workout we are streaming.
